Our talented, robust team of more than 70 clinical faculty members spanning 10 divisions includes representatives from every neurology subspecialty in adult and child neurology, plus award-winning educators, clinical and translational neuroscientists and master clinicians.

About the Interim Chair

Dr. Myla Goldman joined the VCU Department of Neurology in 2019 as its inaugural Vice Chair for Faculty Development. She is a tenured Professor of Neurology and Chief of the Neuroimmunology Division. With more than 20 years of experience caring for individuals with multiple sclerosis and related disorders across Virginia and beyond, she was named a Virginia Business Top Doc in 2025. Her research focuses on clinical outcome measures in MS and the impact of comorbidities on disease course. Supported by funding from the NIH, Department of Defense, and National MS Society, Dr. Goldman has authored more than 80 peer‑reviewed publications and is a nationally recognized expert in her field.
